LIFTMOD / TERMS
Terms of service
Effective date: October 7, 2026
Last updated: October 7, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and TestosterOne Labs LLC, doing business as LiftMod (“LiftMod,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), regarding your use of the LiftMod mobile application, website, cloud services, coach portal, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a LiftMod account.
If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms where their consent is required by law.
You may not use LiftMod if you are legally prohibited from receiving or using the Services.
2. The LiftMod Service
LiftMod provides tools for strength and resistance training, including features that may allow users to:
- create, import, generate, and edit training programs;
- plan workouts;
- record exercises, loads, repetitions, effort, velocity, and other training metrics;
- review workout history;
- record and associate videos with individual sets;
- connect compatible training devices;
- synchronize or back up certain data;
- use AI-assisted program features;
- share training information with an authorized coach; and
- access other features made available through a particular LiftMod plan.
Features may differ based on:
- your subscription plan;
- operating system;
- app version;
- device;
- geographic location;
- network availability;
- supported hardware; and
- other technical requirements.
We may modify the Services over time in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate account information;
- maintaining control of your sign-in method;
- protecting your account against unauthorized access; and
- promptly notifying us if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised.
Do not share authentication codes or credentials with another person.
One athlete account is intended to represent one athlete unless LiftMod expressly supports another arrangement.
You may not access another person’s account without authorization.
4. Exercise and Training Disclaimer
Physical training, strength training, and exercise involve inherent risks, including the risk of overexertion, equipment failure, falls, illness, and serious physical injury.
LiftMod provides software and information tools. LiftMod does not provide medical services, medical diagnoses, physical examinations, physiotherapy, rehabilitation services, or individualized medical advice.
Training programs, calculated values, velocity measurements, effort targets, AI-generated suggestions, and other information available through LiftMod do not guarantee safety, performance, or results.
You are responsible for determining whether a workout, exercise, load, volume, progression, or other activity is appropriate for you.
Do not disregard professional medical advice because of information provided through LiftMod. Where appropriate, consult a qualified physician or other health professional before beginning or materially changing an exercise program.
If you experience symptoms that may require medical attention, stop exercising and seek appropriate assistance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. AI-Assisted Features
LiftMod may provide artificial-intelligence features that help generate, import, interpret, classify, or edit training information.
AI output can contain errors, hallucinations, inappropriate exercises, incorrect loads, incorrect progression logic, missing information, or other inaccuracies.
You must review AI-generated or AI-modified content before using it.
In particular, review:
- exercise selection;
- load;
- repetitions;
- sets;
- training volume;
- effort targets;
- velocity targets;
- progression rules; and
- any assumptions made from imported material.
You remain responsible for deciding whether to perform a workout or follow a program.
LiftMod does not guarantee that AI output will be unique, accurate, complete, or appropriate for your circumstances.
6. Connected Devices and Measurements
LiftMod may connect to compatible third-party devices, including supported velocity-based training equipment.
Measurements from a connected device may be inaccurate, incomplete, interrupted, duplicated, delayed, or affected by placement, configuration, hardware, Bluetooth connectivity, or environmental factors.
Review captured information before relying on or saving it.
Compatibility with a particular device is not guaranteed indefinitely.
Third-party hardware is subject to the manufacturer’s own warranties and terms.
7. Introduction, Trials, and Locked Access
LiftMod is offered as a single subscription. There is no separate free tier.
Introduction
A new account can use LiftMod without paying for a limited introduction: one training program and one completed workout.
- The program is the first program your account saves, however it was created, including a customized built-in program. Editing, revising, or deleting it does not provide another. Switching between built-in programs and programs you already have does not use up that program.
- The workout is the first workout you finish with at least one logged set, including a quick workout started without a program.
- The introduction does not require payment information and does not convert into a paid subscription.
- Reinstalling the app or deleting data does not reset the introduction.
Locked access
Once the introduction has been used, and whenever a subscription has ended as verified with the applicable store, your account is locked unless it has an active subscription.
A locked account can still subscribe, restore a purchase, manage its subscription, and use account settings, including sign-out and account deletion. None of these requires payment.
While locked, ordinary features are unavailable, including starting or changing workouts, programs, and exercises, viewing training history in the app, AI features, and inviting coaches. Because coach access follows your own access, a coach cannot view your training while your account is locked.
Locking does not delete your training records. Cloud records stay associated with your account, records on your device stay on your device, and training data recorded on your device that has not yet synchronized stays on your device and synchronizes once the account subscribes. Cloud videos follow the separate retention period in section 9.
Store trials
Where an eligible purchase is made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the monthly and yearly plans may include a seven-day free trial before the first charge.
Trial eligibility is determined by the applicable store under its rules and may not be available to every purchaser, including where a trial has already been used. The purchase screen shows whether a trial applies; if no trial applies, it shows that the purchase is charged immediately.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription continues as a paid subscription and the first charge is made when the trial ends.
LiftMod may change or discontinue introductory or trial offers for future users. Changes will not retroactively create a payment obligation that you did not authorize.
8. Subscriptions and Billing
Where purchasing is offered, the LiftMod subscription is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play on a monthly or yearly basis. Both plans provide the same access.
Our baseline prices are US$7.99 per month and US$69.99 per year. The store shows the price in your currency, which may differ from the baseline, together with any applicable trial, the billing period, and the renewal terms before you confirm a purchase. The price and terms shown on the purchase screen control.
One subscription covers one LiftMod account, and access follows that account across supported devices and platforms. A purchase cannot be applied to more than one account.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, including at the end of a free trial, unless cancelled in accordance with the terms presented by the applicable store.
Purchases made through Apple must generally be managed through Apple. Purchases made through Google Play must generally be managed through Google. LiftMod does not directly control App Store or Google Play billing systems.
You can reattach an existing purchase to your account using Restore purchase in the app at no charge.
Cancellation
You can cancel a recurring subscription through the store through which you purchased it.
Deleting the LiftMod app does not cancel a subscription.
Deleting your LiftMod account does not automatically cancel a subscription. If you no longer want the subscription, cancel it with the store first.
Subject to applicable law and store rules, cancellation ordinarily prevents future renewal while allowing continued access through the already-paid subscription period or the remainder of a free trial. If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged.
When a subscription ends, your account is locked as described in section 7. Cancellation does not delete your training records.
Refunds
Refund requests for purchases processed by Apple or Google are generally handled by the applicable store under its policies and applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms limits refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
9. Usage Allowances and Cloud Video Retention
A subscription includes the features described in the app, including programs, custom exercises, your full training history, AI-assisted features, cloud storage for set videos, and coach sharing. During the introduction, some features, including how much training history the app shows, are limited.
Certain features remain subject to allowances even with a subscription, including:
- AI requests, which are counted against periodic allowances shown in the app together with their next reset date;
- cloud video, where each clip is subject to duration and size limits; and
- other limits displayed in the app or purchase flow.
A subscription does not mean AI features or cloud storage are unlimited. Retries, deletions, reinstalling the app, or changing plans do not replenish a used allowance.
Cloud video retention
Cloud videos are kept while your account has subscribed access.
After subscribed access ends, each cloud video is kept for 90 days from the last day it was covered by subscribed access. The app shows the deletion date and warns you before deletion. Subscribing again before that date keeps the video.
Deletion of a cloud video does not delete a copy kept on your device and never deletes your workout records. Losing or cancelling a subscription never deletes files stored on your device.
Keep independent copies of information or recordings that you cannot afford to lose.
10. Your Content
“Your Content” means information or materials that you create, enter, record, upload, or import into LiftMod, including programs, workout records, notes, videos, images, and files.
As between you and LiftMod, you retain whatever ownership rights you have in Your Content.
You give LiftMod a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, process, format, display, and otherwise use Your Content only as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the Services you request;
- operate cloud backup or synchronization;
- process an AI request you initiate;
- make authorized information available to an invited coach;
- maintain security and reliability;
- comply with law; and
- perform the other activities described in our Privacy Policy.
This license ends when the relevant content is deleted from our systems, except to the extent that:
- temporary backups or deletion queues still contain a copy;
- another person has independently retained a copy;
- continued retention is required by law; or
- information has been lawfully de-identified so that it is no longer associated with you.
11. Your Responsibility for Uploaded and Imported Material
You may upload, import, record, or share only material that you have the right to use for the applicable purpose.
You are responsible for obtaining any permission required before:
- importing another person’s copyrighted training program;
- recording another person;
- uploading an image, spreadsheet, video, or file owned by someone else; or
- sharing another person’s personal information.
Third-party programs, trademarks, images, documents, and other materials remain subject to their applicable copyright, trademark, attribution, confidentiality, and license requirements.
LiftMod does not grant you rights to third-party material merely because the Services allow you to import or store it.
12. Workout Videos
LiftMod may let you record and associate videos with individual workout sets.
You are responsible for your surroundings and for ensuring that recording is lawful.
Do not intentionally record another person where doing so would violate their privacy or other legal rights.
Cloud backup of a video occurs only when the applicable upload or backup feature is used successfully.
A local recording that has not successfully uploaded is not a cloud backup.
Cloud videos are retained as described in section 9.
13. Coach Sharing
You may be able to invite a coach to review selected training information through the LiftMod coach portal.
By granting coach access, you authorize LiftMod to make the covered information available to that coach.
You are responsible for:
- inviting the correct person;
- determining what information you are comfortable sharing; and
- revoking access when you no longer want it.
A temporary video link issued before revocation may remain usable until it expires.
LiftMod cannot remotely recall information that another person has already downloaded, exported, photographed, recorded, or otherwise retained outside LiftMod.
Coach responsibilities
A coach who accesses LiftMod agrees to:
- access only information the athlete has authorized the coach to access;
- use that information only for legitimate coaching or other authorized purposes;
- protect account and athlete information from unauthorized access;
- comply with applicable privacy and confidentiality obligations; and
- stop accessing an athlete’s information when authorization ends.
LiftMod does not supervise or control the professional services, advice, qualifications, or conduct of an independent coach.
14. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- access another person’s account without authorization;
- misrepresent your identity to obtain access to another person’s information;
- bypass or attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, subscription limits, storage limits, or usage allowances;
- interfere with or disrupt the Services or their infrastructure;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without written authorization;
- introduce malware or malicious code;
- use automated systems to scrape the Services except where expressly permitted;
- reverse engineer the Services except to the extent applicable law expressly permits that activity notwithstanding this restriction;
- use the Services to violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
- upload unlawful material;
- use LiftMod to facilitate fraud or other unlawful conduct; or
- attempt to help another person do any of the above.
We may use reasonable technical measures to prevent abuse and protect the integrity of the Services.
15. LiftMod Intellectual Property
Except for Your Content and third-party materials, LiftMod and its licensors own the Services and associated:
- software;
- interfaces;
- visual designs;
- trademarks;
- logos;
- documentation;
- databases;
- text; and
- other proprietary materials.
Subject to these Terms, LiftMod grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose.
No ownership interest in LiftMod intellectual property is transferred to you.
16. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions, or feedback about LiftMod, you permit us to use that feedback without restriction or payment to you.
This does not give us ownership of Your Content merely because you report a problem or suggest an improvement.
17. Third-Party Services
LiftMod may rely on or integrate with third parties such as:
- Apple;
- Google;
- Amazon Web Services;
- OpenAI;
- PostHog;
- RepOne; and
- other services or hardware providers.
Third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.
LiftMod is not responsible for a third party’s independent products, hardware, services, outages, acts, or omissions.
18. App Store Terms
If you obtain LiftMod through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use of the app is also subject to applicable store terms.
To the extent required by an applicable platform agreement:
- these Terms are between you and LiftMod, not the app-store operator;
- LiftMod, rather than the app-store operator, is responsible for the LiftMod application and its support;
- the app-store operator has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for LiftMod except where its own rules provide otherwise; and
- mandatory app-store terms will apply where they cannot lawfully be displaced by these Terms.
19. Backup, Availability, and Data Loss
We work to make LiftMod reliable, but no online or local software service is error-free.
The Services may be interrupted by:
- maintenance;
- software errors;
- device failures;
- network outages;
- cloud-provider failures;
- store outages;
- third-party hardware;
- security incidents; or
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Synchronization and backup can fail.
You are responsible for reviewing the status shown by the app and maintaining independent copies of data that is important to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiftMod is not responsible for loss that could reasonably have been avoided by maintaining an independent copy, except where the loss resulted from a responsibility that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
20. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your LiftMod cloud account:
- through the account settings in the app; or
- by contacting support@liftmod.app if you no longer have app access.
We may require reasonable verification of account ownership.
Account deletion removes applicable live cloud records managed by LiftMod, subject to temporary backup retention, legal requirements, fraud-prevention records, and the other retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.
Account deletion does not automatically remove:
- local workout history;
- local video files;
- independent exports;
- copies retained by coaches or other recipients; or
- third-party files outside LiftMod’s control.
Account deletion also does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
See liftmod.app/delete-account for additional instructions.
21. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using LiftMod at any time.
We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to:
- address a security threat;
- prevent fraud or misuse;
- comply with law;
- protect another user;
- address a material breach of these Terms; or
- protect the operation of the Services.
Where reasonably practicable and legally appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct a remediable breach before permanently terminating an account.
Immediate action may be taken where necessary for security, unlawful conduct, fraud, serious abuse, or legal compliance.
Nothing in this section limits rights granted to consumers by mandatory law.
22. Changes to the Services
We may add, modify, or discontinue features as the Services develop.
If a change materially reduces a paid feature during an active paid subscription, we will provide any notice, remedy, cancellation right, or refund required by applicable law.
We do not promise that every feature, provider, connected device, or integration will remain available indefinitely.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect:
- changes to LiftMod;
- new functionality;
- legal or regulatory changes;
- security requirements; or
- changes to our business practices.
We will update the “Last updated” date when these Terms change.
Where required by law, we will provide advance or additional notice of material changes.
If applicable law requires your consent to a material change, the change will not apply to you until the required consent has been obtained.
24. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LiftMod is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not warrant that:
- the Services will always be uninterrupted or error-free;
- every measurement will be accurate;
- every device will remain compatible;
- every backup or synchronization attempt will succeed;
- AI-generated output will be accurate or appropriate;
- a training program will produce a particular result; or
- defects will always be corrected immediately.
Some jurisdictions do not permit exclusion of certain statutory warranties. Any warranty that cannot legally be excluded remains in effect.
25. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including any liability that applicable consumer law requires us to retain.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiftMod and TestosterOne Labs LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, arising from use of the Services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount you paid to LiftMod for the Services during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim; or
- US$100.
This limitation does not apply where applicable law prohibits it or requires a different remedy.
26. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights that you cannot lawfully waive.
If consumer-protection law in your country or region gives you mandatory rights or remedies that conflict with these Terms, those mandatory provisions control to the extent of the conflict.
27. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent mandatory law where you live requires otherwise.
Any dispute that may lawfully be subject to an exclusive forum will be brought in the courts located in Sheridan, Wyoming, United States.
If applicable consumer law entitles you to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction, this section does not remove that right.
These Terms do not require arbitration unless LiftMod and you separately agree to arbitration where legally permitted.
28. General Terms
Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly presented for a particular feature or purchase, constitute the agreement between you and LiftMod regarding the Services.
Severability
If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
No waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.
Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent.
We may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
Headings
Section headings are provided for convenience and do not alter the meaning of these Terms.
